Sujal Patel, PharmD

Sujal is a clinical pharmacist and clinical instructor with the Medication Review and Academic Detailing department at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2015. He has 2 years of community retail experience prior to transitioning into his managed care role at UIC in 2017. His role includes reviewing prior authorizations and creating medical content. He trained with experts at NaRCAD to enhance his skills as an academic detailer. His interests include collaborating with prescribers to improve patient outcomes, patient counseling, and educational outreach.
