Steve Hiemenz, BSPharm, MBA, BCPS, BCGP

Steve is a clinical pharmacist and clinical instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy and an Academic Detailer with Illinois ADVANCE. He graduated from University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and began his career in chain community pharmacy. Steve then opened a start-up independent pharmacy in a medical office building, specializing in Medication Therapy Management, compounding, and other patient care initiatives. Steve has a particular interest in pharmacogenomics and geriatrics.
