Sajitha Purathur, PharmD

Sajitha Purathur is a clinical pharmacist and clinical instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy. She graduated from UIC with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2005 and a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2009. She has spent the last 13 years as a retail pharmacist and transitioned to the Illinois ADVANCE team in 2023. Her interests include educating providers on current therapeutic guidelines and pain management.
