Liana Osis, PharmD

Liana is a clinical pharmacist and clinical instructor with the Medication Review and Academic Detailing group at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Liana is a graduate of UIC, where she received her Doctor in Pharmacy degree. She has been practicing pharmacy since 2012, beginning with Medication Review and Academic Detailing group at UIC. Liana has a passion for psychiatry, and she has extensive experience as a staff pharmacist at Chicago area psychiatric hospitals. Liana has been trained at NaRCAD by a team of professionals and experts in academic detailing strategies, where she developed the skills to become an academic detailer. Being responsible for developing the opioid toolkit and reviewing clinical content, Liana developed an interest in providing evidence-based pharmacotherapy to health care professionals.
